Marquis Dennis Losey, known as Mark by all, was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Mark will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Marion and William Losey, Sr. He had one older sister Pat, and a younger brother Bill.
Mark was an Army veteran. Mark saw action in the Korean Conflict. Through his hard work, he achieved the rank of Corporal.
After being discharged from the army, mother and son attended college together where he pursued a degree in engineering. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Mark returned to school later in life, earning his Masters Degree.
Fortunately, Mark enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Marquis worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was Engineering. He was employed for over 30 years at Fluor Corporation.
Mark enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuit were painting, reading, soduko, playing bridge, fishing, and traveling with his beautiful wife.
Mark passed away on February 4, 2022 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Diane. He is survived by his children, grandchildren,
and great-grandchildren. Mark was laid to rest in Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
Simply stated, Mark was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Mark leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories.
