She was born in Denver Colorado. She was the youngest of 2 brothers and a sister. She married the love of her life on November 1, 1948, and for 71 years they were devoted to each other. They have 5 children, 7 Grand children and 12 Great-grand children.
Dahlia worked for the office of the Staff Judge Advocate at Camp Pendleton for 15 years. She served our Lord and his church, St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, and was a long time member of the Altar Society and St. Ann's Guild. She was an avid Bingo player. She & her husband Valentino, loved having friends over for a game of Rummy Cube, Yahtzee or Mexican Train. She loved dancing and also played a mean game of Jarts and Corn hole.
She was a devoted wife, loving Mother and a loyal friend. Her bright smile and warm heart will be missed by many.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 26th at 2:00pm at the home of Barbara & John Page, 826 Windridge Circle, San Marcos, Ca. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 27th at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea – Oceanside and burial immediately following at Eternal Hills Cemetery.
