Nancy Josephine Jacobson

She is survived by her 3 children: DeAnne Angel of La Costa, CA, Scott Angel of San Mateo, CA and Michelle Angel Rhatigan of Phoenix, AZ; 5 grandchildren: Autumn, Nathan, Elora, Donovan and McKenna; brother George (Mike) Ronyak of Olympia, WA and sister Ruthanne Brownlee of Katy, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Patricia Ronyak, her husband of 11 years, Roy Jacobson and younger brother James (Max) Ronyak of Lebanon, OR.

Nancy was a long-time florist and loved to cook. She was a consummate hostess, an avid traveler and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her Carlsbad home that she purchased with her late husband Roy and would welcome guests with open arms.

Nancy had a gypsy spirit that compelled her to experience life to its fullest. She had many travels and escapades, and was always ready to embark on the next great adventure. Whether it be a fishing trip, a quick jaunt to Ensenada or a trek around Europe, she was packed and ready to go.

Nancy will be remembered for her sweet nature, loving care and devotion to her family, ever-present smile, and her wit and humor. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 at 10:30am at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, California. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at Eternal Hills Hospitality Suite at 11:30am in Oceanside, California.
