For most of her life, Yota enjoyed reading, growing plants, finding treasures at the old Oceanside Swap Meet or at garage sales, and chatting with good friends and family around the table or with strangers she encountered on her adventures. She loved taking walks in nature and drives along the coast or to the mountains. She loved deep conversations about life and the world and its curiosities. She loved her family and friends fiercely and they all loved her just as much.
Friends and family are all welcome to the graveside services on Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 AM at Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery, 4050 Mission Avenue in Oceanside. Feel free to wear bright colors to her celebration of life; Yota would have loved it.
