I can't believe it's been 5 years since you left us Tio Bob.  Julie's been gone almost 4 years now too.  I lost touch with Isabelle not long after Julie passed away.  I did find her again less than a year ago and we've tried keeping in touch. 
Every summer at the county fair I take the kids for cinnamon rolls, and we remember you.
I haven't been able to watch Robo-tech or Star Wars since you passed away.  (The new Star Wars stuff doesn't count).

Hello, wow five years has passed already? It's been a while, and I hope your wife and daughter is doing well. I don't have a way to contact them, but I hope they see my memories here and that they know that someone hasn't forgotten your memory. 

I realized that I had post one at least every and turned it into a habit of posting at least one memory of you so that your family has something to that they can read and know how good of a teacher you were. So here's a memory to share; In middle school we had these books to do in every class, I forgot what they were called but we did them once a week. I volunteered to take our creat down to Mr. Saldivar's class with another student. Luckily it was near the end of the school year so most of us would try to stay in our favorite teachers classroom. So that's what I did, I stayed in his classroom, he was like a father to a lot of students. And I always enjoyed his personality. 

I hope that this memory brings more peace to your family, and I wish for the best for them. They deserve it.

Mr. Saldivar, I hope you are doing well in heaven. It's been four years now. I pray that your family is doing well even though they have lost you as such an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle. 

I know that as my teacher I had looked up to you as a father when I was in school, now I'm an adult. There isn't a day that I have not thought about you or your family. My memory of you has always played over and over today. It still sadness me that you left us so early. But know that our memory lives on of you. 

To his family, I hope that everything is going well for you, I try to keep up with his memorial to send a note each year to remind you all that I always think of you. Please stay safe out there.

To the family of Robert Saldivar, I pray that his memories continue to live on in your hearts. He loved his family. He spoke about his mother, wife and daughter often at the Blytheville Middle School. I have nothing but great memories as I was the secretary at the time of his passing. Blessing and my God continue to comfort you all.

Wow, three years came and gone. I didn't know it had been this long, but my thoughts had always gone out to his family. He was a lovely teacher to me and I can't have asked for a better one. This year is my last year in high school and Mr.Saldivar is one of the people who got me here. I miss him dearly as most others have. I can't thank him enough for where he had gotten me. I also hope that his family is well I know you haven't gone a day without missing your husband/father. Please take care.

Mr.Saldivar, it's been such a long time now since you had passed. I haven't forgotten the times you taught me back in Middle school, now I'm a Junior this year and pushing through my dreams. I'm hoping you are resting well.

 To his wife and daughter, I hope you are doing well even though these years are getting hard.  I wish you both nothing but good health and hope that you're healing well. There hasn't been a day where I forgot about you two, please stay safe out there and take care.

       My dad (Robert Saldivar) was the best dad ever. He spoiled me rotten though, LOL. I love him to Pluto and back. He was a great man. And let the hard-working man Rest In Peace.

Thank you to everyone that left messages here.  Special Thank you to Meranda Lorta for remembering him yesterday and taking the time to leave a message for him and his daughter. As his wife it meant a lot to know you cared enough to share your memories.  I know he would be so proud to hear those memories he loved teaching and his students. So thank you.

Happy one year Mr. Saldivar, we miss you so much here. Now time for a good memory, as one of his past students he was the school dad to us. He made learning fun, joked about the lessons. He help encourage me to keep going with my art. He will also bring in his daughter once in a while, I enjoyed both of their company. She will sometimes help out in the class. If his daughter is reading this, just know that your father is proud of you. He will always be proud of you. Please take care. 

I'm not family but he was one of my favorite teachers. He was a great man and was always nice to everyone even when they purposely annoyed him. When I found out he passed I was devastated he was a great man  I'm sorry to all of his family and to this world that lost another great person there isn't very many of them anymore. 

I remember Mr. Saldivar as a very quiet man  and he had a love for his family. He was a teacher and coworker of mine at Blytheville Middle School, in Blytheville, Ar. May God grant peace and comfort to his family and friends.

I worked with Mr. Saldivar at Blytheville. He was always the nicest guy. He spoke of his family often and thought the world of them. My condolences to your family at this time. 

He was an amazing teacher to us.. When I was having a break down he knew what to do, when he knows somethings wrong he would make a joke to make you feel better. You might not hear or see this from any other student of his, but he made my 3 years of middle school a dream!... I didn't have in 8th grade but I would vist him or he'll stop and talk to me. I just wish I could see him one more time... Stay strong sir, you'll be missed... Stay safe... ❤️

I worked very closely with Mr. Saldivar daily when I worked at Blytheville Middle School. He was one of the sweetest kindest and gentle men I’ve ever known. He loved his family immensely and talked about them often. He loved his students and truly cared about their well being. His intelligence reached way beyond the subjects he taught. I guess I don’t remember any one certain memory, but what he left behind for me was an example. ❤️

Mr.Saldivar was my favorite teacher in 8th grade of Blytheville Middle School. *it’s very sad typing this* He was never one of those teachers that didn’t teach me anything. He shared so many stories about other schools he attended and students who died from a school shooter. He taught me one thing that I will always remember and that’s to always protect yourself and to be respectful, and he really meant it. 2020 is the year I graduate, and one of my goals were to see all of my teachers before senior year was over *depending on distance* and he was one of them I actually wanted to see , update him on my life and I know he would’ve congratulated me for sure and just would’ve been proud if I told him what he told me that I will always keep forever. Who would’ve thought an 8th grader would learn a life lesson and keep it with them forever?  Besides that, I hope family, friends, neighbors, co workers and students can let him Rest In Peace and always remember who he was . I hope one day everyone can go through grief with this because he was a very good person. Thanks for reading this!

Life is full of wishes - I wish that I had gotten more time to get to know Bob but am honored by what little time I did have. He was an amazing man with a gentle soul. Julie, the way he would look at you with adoration and true love...you were his world. And Isabelle was the true light of his life. The sacrifices he made to love, cherish and support his family are truly immensible.  I am sending my love and prayers to you, Isabelle, and Bob’s family for the loss of an irreplaceable man.

First I would like to say I am praying for the family and friends. I worked with Mr. Saldivar at Blytheville Middle School and he was a very sweet and kind man. I remember he always spoke of his world and how he would do anything for her (his daughter). You will be missed. Rest peacefully. 

Bob was my brother-in-law, I will always remember him for his humor, safety, strength and love. He loved my sister and Tink dearly. I remember when I visited Julie and him for a month in 2006, we were out site seeing and I tripped and fell and was going through the railing of the fence, he kept me from going through the fence and on over the edge. We laughed afterward about how we would have had to explain to Mom why I wouldn't be able to come home if I had went over the edge because I was in a body cast. I will also remember him for his cranberry salad every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I tried to get the recipe from him. He told it was a family recipe, couple times, he he said you add this and this, never giving me the recipe. I will always remember him.
