He is survived by his daughters Ceciia and Janie, sons, Stephen and Jimmy. Further survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings.
Salvador served his country honorable in the U.S. Marine Corps.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 10am at St. John the Evangelist in Encinitas, California.
Mr. Vargas' final resting place will be Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
Arrangements are under the direction of Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Mortuary, and Crematory, Oceanside, California.
