Sergio Ricardo Ortega, 48, of Jalisco, Guadalajara, raised in Oceanside, California, left us peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Surrounded by family and friends. A beloved son, brother, uncle and cousin of many, will always be remembered in our hearts.
Born on March 2, 1976, in Guadalajara, Sergio grew up in Oceanside, son of Isidoro Ortega and Juana Aguilar Beaz and older brother to Cesar Ortega and Adriana Quintero. Uncle to his favorite nieces and nephew which he loved and showed his love to them all the time: Sabrina, Sienna, Stella, Samarah and Anthony Ortega.
If Sergio wasn’t out cruising the strand in our beautiful Oceanside beach making friends you would catch him strolling the city which he enjoyed very much. His friends referenced him as a “cool dude.” He had a helping hand and a soft heart for those in need. Always tried to help when he could and never hesitated to share whatever he had. Sergio lived his life to the fullest, just the way he liked it and made the most out of everyday.
