Sheila Julia Sheridan Delia passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 83. She was born in County Meath, Ireland and will be greatly missed for her sense of humor, her funny stories and her love for others.
Sheila is survived by her dear husband of 57 years, Vinnie; her children, Cindy and Jimmy, alongside their spouses, Todd and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Mia, Madison, Francesca and Paolo; as well as her sisters, Ann, Maureen, Nuala, and Pat, her brother-in-law, Sergio, and her nieces and nephews.
Sheila left Ireland and England in her early 20s to come to America as an Au Pair. Soon after she and Vinnie were married, they left Los Angeles and settled in Oceanside. She worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional and a Duty Supervisor at the Oceanside School District for 22 years before retiring in March 2001.
Sheila was laid to rest at Eternal Hills at the Hillside Mausoleum in Oceanside, California.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she knew.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 16th at the Presidio La Costa Greens in Carlsbad at 2:00pm.
