Socorro is survived by her husband, Carlos Alvarez, son, Ernesto Alvarez, daughter Griselda Sidon relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a vigil at 7:00 pm at St. Mary's in Oceanside, California.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's in Oceanside, California.
Mrs. Alvarez-Rodriguez's final resting place will be Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
