Willie King, a cherished friend, devoted husband, and longtime Vista resident, passed away on July 9, 2025. He was a 36-year veteran of TaylorMade Golf Company where he oversaw the PGA Tour dept as Sr Manager of Tour Operations. His unwavering dedication, work ethic, and warmth left a lasting impact on colleagues and friends alike.
Willie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon, who passed in 2021. The two shared a beautiful life together, bonded by deep love—and a shared affection for their many cats, who brought joy and companionship to their home.
Known for his gentle nature, quiet humor, and unwavering loyalty, Willie was the kind of friend everyone hopes to have. Whether you knew him for decades or just a few moments, his kindness and sincerity made a lasting impression.
He will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
