Funeral services for Barbara A. Price, age 82 of DePeyster will be held at10:00am on Thursday (Mar 2, 2017) at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Lay Speaker Margaret Hance officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Heuvelton.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (Mar 1, 2017) from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Price passed away early Monday morning (Feb 27, 2017) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.

Surviving are her children Steven (Dorsey) Price of DePeyster, John (Corrine) Price of Schenectady and Dianne Price & her companion Jim Mann of Ogdensburg and five grandchildren Jonathan, Joshua, Sarah, Ashley & Adam Price. Her husband Gerald predeceased her on November 21, 1985.

Barbara was born on October 29, 1934 in DePeyster NY, a daughter of the late Wilbur & Grace (Witherell) Parish. She graduated from Heuvelton High School and later married Gerald A. Price on June 5, 1954 at the DePeyster Methodist Church with Rev. William Masters officiating.

She owned and operated the family farm with her husband until his untimely death, and continued its operations until the spring of 2013. Barbara enjoyed attending sporting events of all kinds and spending time with her family.
