

Funeral services for Dolores M. Wagner, age 81 of Warsaw, NY and formerly of Brier Hill will be held on Tuesday (June 7, 2011) at 1:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Her place of rest will be Foxwood Memorial Park.
Calling hours will be held also on Tuesday from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Wagner died Friday evening at the East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw surrounded by her family.
Surviving are three sons Lorne Wagner & his wife Shari, Donald Wagner & his wife Kathe all of Pavilion, NY, Michael Wagner of Hammond; two daughters Patricia Dority of Hastings and Teresa Wagner of Pavilion; a sister Midge Taylor of Ogdensburg; twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & cousins. Her husband Lorne predeceased her on November 5, 2002.
Dolores was born on August 7, 1929 in Syracuse, NY a daughter of the late Irving & Mary Perry. She attended Syracuse schools for her education and married Edward “Lorne” Wagner on August 8, 1947 at the First Congregational Church in Ogdensburg, with Rev. Gerald Boyce officiating. For many years, Dolores assisted her husband in the operation of the family farm, and was a member of the Brier Hill Fire Department Ladies’s Auxiliary and the Hammond Bowling League. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
