I will miss him so much and i love him so much i was so glad to be around him

I will always cherish the times we spent together you will be missed I am glad you chose to spend you last days with Kathy and I . I was blessed by your presence ,your sincerity ,your wisdom and your generosity .

Gabe..I knew you for many yrs..you were always there...you were and are great man

We called him Bub-a-bub, my sisters and I, as he came into our family's life before we could even properly enunciate his name. He had a huge impact on my life; still does in fact. I wish he could have realized just how much while still in this life.  I do believe he does now. Rest in peace, Bub.

Gabe you were like a father to many and brought lots of laughter to many people you will be sadly missed in our family. Know that we loved you very much and were proud to have you as part of our family rest in peace. We will always remember all the stories you told about life in New York City.I have to smile when I think of the times you and Earl did the dishes and the funny little arguments you had over the way things were done. You will be greatly missed we love you.

Gabe, it has been years, but you made a deep impression on my life, my ex-husband's life and my children's lives.  You will be long remembered not only for the kind, caring, gentle man you were but also for the dedicated teacher you were, sharing your love of the English language during your many years of teaching at SUNY Canton.  Rest in Peace Gabe.

May your light always shine brightly in the lives you have touched.

So many fond memories come to mind when I think of Gabe. Bert will always have a special place in his heart for you as we all will. You took him in when he needed you and helped him throughout his life. May you rest in God's Loving Arms and be at peace for eternity. We love you!!

We never saw you much but our times together will never be forgotten .  You always made us smile and it was easy to love you.  We will miss you Uncle Gabe.

You are a treasured family friend. Your humor and caring ways will always be remembered.I will never forget your visits to my grandparents for "tea", where I first met you,and you have remained / survived our family through 4 generations. May God always look favorable upon you.

Gabe was my dear friend for as long as I can remember. Gabe took me in his home in 1975 as my foster parent. Though out the years Gabe taught me so much in life. We always stayed in touch with each other for last 39 years. He came down here to Florida to visit a few years back and as always such a pleasure see him with his humor and kindness that he's carried all his life. I sure am gonna miss you my dear friend. I will carry you in my heart and memories forever. Thanks for being there for me. Love Bob

Gramps u will be missed by many..I love you..

I just want to take a moment and wish a safe journey to heaven for a very dear, long time family friend. A man who has been a dad, a college professor, a mentor, an advisor, a landlord, a rock of my soul, and a true friend in every sense of the word. You will be truly missed. Especially on a Tuesday after 2. See ya when I get there.

Although we barely knew yea, the few times I did see you, I was taken by your warm heart and sense of humor.  
Rest in Peace Uncle Gabe.

Brother and Uncle Gabe will always be remembered for his special sense of humor! He accomplished so much during his lifetime despite some early challenges. We were all so proud of him. He will be dearly remembered.

Uncle Gabe will be fondly remembered for his intellect and humor and "indubitably" his sense of adventure and the many kindnesses he showed to family and friends during his lifetime.
