

Funeral services for Joan Beverly Kirby Reagen, 78, of 406 Main Street, Morristown will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 506 Gouverneur St., Morristown with Rev. Al Hauser officiating.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fox Murray Funeral Home, 528 Franklin St., Ogdensburg.
Burial will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ogdensburg.
Mrs. Reagen died Monday (March 12, 2012) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, surrounded by her loving family.
She was under the care of Hospice.
Mrs. Reagen was the wife of the late Frank Gerard (Gary) Reagen of Ogdensburg.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas and Patty Reagen of Morristown, James and Donna Reagen of Ogdensburg and Stephen of China; three grandsons, Chris Reagen of Boulder, Colorado; Timothy Reagen of Amherst, N.Y.; Adam Gilman and his mother, Kim Gilman of Ogdensburg, two step-grandsons William Hosmer of Ogdensburg and Daniel Hosmer of Rotterdam, N.Y.
She is also survived by four brothers and sisters, James and Ruth Kirby of Baldwinsville, Edward Kirby of Liverpool, Nancy Maywright of Liverpool and George (MaryAnne) Kirby of Palm Coast, Fla.
She was predeceased by a son, Andrew John and a daughter, Cynthia Ann and eight brothers and sisters.
The daughter of the late George Kirby Sr. and Marguerite Cullen Kirby of Syracuse, she was born on March 2, 1934 in Syracuse. She graduated from North High School in Syracuse and worked at Syracuse China.
She was married Sept. 4, 1953 in Syracuse at St. John the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Reagen was a fashion model in Syracuse and often modeled for charitable events in the 1960s in Ogdensburg after moving here in 1958.
She was a Cub Scout Den mother with Pack 7, active in the Ogdensburg Country Club, the Ogdensburg Women’s Golf Association, the Ogdensburg Women’s Bowling Association, the Ogdensburg Women’s Republican Club, the St. Lawrence Valley Federation of Women’s Republican Clubs and the Ogdensburg Jaycettes.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Morristown Fire Department and the Morristown Library.
