Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel; her son, John (Joji) Plantz of Ogdensburg; and her daughter, Ann Ramos of Pensacola, Florida. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Aaron Plantz, Tommy Plantz, Stephen Brown, Lauren Brown, Alexander Brown, Ethan Ramos, and Ian Ramos. She is also survived by her brother, John Yeoman of Atlanta, Georgia, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Born on March 4, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Mary was the daughter of the late Edgar and Harriett (Quigley) Yeoman. She graduated from Grosse Pointe Woods High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Daniel W. Plantz, on June 28, 1968.
Throughout her life, Mary worked in clerical and sales positions while residing in Detroit and Pensacola. Later, she made her home in the North Country, where she dedicated herself to caring for her family—a role she embraced with deep love and pride.
Mary found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved quilting, shopping, dining out, cooking, and, above all, spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness.
In keeping with her caring spirit, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA. Condolences and fond memories may be shared online at www.foxandmurrayfuneralhome.com.
Mary will be remembered for her warmth, devotion, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a time to be determined.
