Stacy L. Weber

Funeral Services for Stacy L. Weber, age 59, of Gouverneur will be held on Wednesday (July 19, 2023) beginning with a calling hour at 9:00am until the time of the service at 10:00am at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Seidel officiating. Burial will follow at the Anshe Zophen Jewish Cemetery in Ogdensburg. Stacy passed away on Sunday (July 16, 2023) at the Canton Potsdam Hospital with her caregivers by her side.

Stacy was born on July 9, 1964 in Manhattan, daughter of Bernard & Elaine (Eskalyo) Weber. Stacy previously lived with her family and was a survivor of Willowbrook State School before moving into the ARC Jefferson & St. Lawrence residence on Rock Island Street in Gouverneur, NY in 1995. Stacy lived her life to the fullest with her housemates who became like family over the years.

Stacy loved many things but most of all Christmas lights, food and music. She kept her tree up all year long, the more lights and sparkle the better. Stacy was known for her sense of humor and her love of laughter. She loved to play games with others and found much amusement with their reactions. She was little but fierce and known as a little spitfire to those that knew her best. She thrived on being the center of attention in her social circles and brought big energy and sass everywhere she went. There was never a dull moment and laughs were sure to be had. If you had the pleasure of knowing her you learned from her, she handed out lessons and blessings.

She will be greatly missed by her housemates of over 30 years and the staff that supported her throughout her beautiful journey.
