Timothy Kelley

Funeral services for Timothy M. Kelley, age 59 of Pleasant Avenue in Ogdensburg, will be held on Tuesday (Feb 22, 2011) at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Jay Seymour officiating. Entombment will be at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mr. Kelley died Saturday (Feb 19, 2011) at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Surviving are his wife Sarah; a son Timothy & his wife Lee Ann Kelley of Heuvelton; a daughter Tammy Kelley & her companion Phil Arno of Ogdensburg; a sister Cathy Kelley of Ogdensburg; a brother Richard Kelley & his wife Pat of Florida; three grandchildren Josephine Elizabeth Kelley, Jackson David Kelley & Oliver Timothy Arno along with several nieces, nephews & cousins.

A sister Sharon Scarpitti predeceased him.

Tim was born on April 22, 1951 in Ogdensburg, NY a son of the late Walter & Elizabeth (Myers) Kelley. He graduated from St. Mary’s Academy and continued his education at Canton ATC where he received a degree in Business Administration. He married Sarah Heagle on April 24, 1976. He was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge and a 2nd degree Knight with the Ogdensburg Knights of Columbus.

During his working career he was employed at Great American Foods for 25 years as the assistant manager, Stewarts as a store manager, Foster Construction as a general contractor and most recently Lowes Home Improvement until 2009 when he retired. He enjoyed playing softball, going for rides, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Memorial contributions have been requested to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley or the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center.
