Verna I. Hutchinson

Surviving are her children Lee Hutchinson & his companion Donna Stiles of Heuvelton; four daughters Irene (Chuck) Ladouceur of Ogdensburg, Janis (Robert) Gray of Heuvelton, Joyce Hutchinson & her husband Jim Flounders of Heuvelton and Julie (David) Barnes of N. Lawrence; a sister Erma McMillan of Watertown; seven grandchildren Beth Ann (David) Kellner, Martha (Ryan) Richardson, Lucas (Nikki) Ladouceur, Logan (Molly) Ladouceur, Eliza (Nathan) Pierce, Janell (Jim) McNeil, Raelyn (Matthew) Hodgson; step grandchildren Clancy Flounders & Jessie (Chris) Ecton along with many beautiful great-grandchildren.

Verna was born on Sept 13, 1919 in Danville, Quebec, a daughter of the late Frank & Hilda (Prince) Wilson. She married Howard D. Hutchinson on Sept 21, 1940 at the home of her parents. Howard predeceased her on Nov 13, 2013.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars, United Helpers Board and various farm organizations. She co-owned and operated the family farm with her husband and enjoyed dancing, antiquing, being on the St. Lawrence River, her flower gardens, walking barefoot in the grass, making and feeding all of her "kids" toasted cheese sandwiches, and loving and spending time with her family.
