

Born on October 13, 1964, in Syracuse, New York, Billy was the son of the late Ronald O’Hara and Agnes (Patterson) Flook. He attended the ARC in Syracuse and spent 20 years at the Baldwinsville ICF before making his home in Rensselaer Falls in 2012. Over the years, Billy was blessed to be surrounded by caring staff and friends who became like family to him.
Billy had a joyful spirit and a warm heart. He was a devoted fan of the Syracuse Orangemen's basketball and took great pride in cheering them on. He loved music, enjoyed being social, and found happiness in the simple pleasures of conversation, laughter, and companionship. Billy had a natural charm about him and never missed an opportunity to share a smile. He especially enjoyed the company of others and had a special admiration for the beauty he saw in the world around him.
Billy is survived by his two sisters, Jennifer Henthorne of Syracuse and Jeannie (Robert) Aldridge of Chase Mills; his niece, Kimberly (Marie) Peterson; his nephews, Keith (Jaylene) Aldridge, Kevin Webb, Jeremy (Erin) Webb, Matthew Webb, and Ernest Clark; along with aunts, an uncle, cousins, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, Billy was predeceased by his three brothers, Jeffrey, Michael, and Ronald O’Hara.
There will be no public service at this time.

Billy’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the loving and compassionate staff who cared for him so faithfully throughout the years. Their kindness and dedication brought comfort not only to Billy, but to all who loved him.
Billy will be remembered for his gentle nature, his bright smile, and the joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
