Alissa was born May 3, 1991, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, daughter of Sheila and Keven Housley.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sheila Housley and survived by her father Keven Housley, grandparents Ben and Pat Hawkins, Gil and Jerri Housley, sister Brittney Taggart with husband Caleb and daughter Ellie, sister Emily Housley, brother Joshua Housley, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alissa graduated from Putnam City High School in 2009. In her younger years, she won awards for her creative writing and stories, she also was an honor roll student. Alissa adored her family, friends and loved spending time with them. Alissa had a way of brightening up a room the moment she entered. Her excitement to see you would almost knock you over as she gave you the biggest hug you ever had. She had an infectious smile and the love she radiated will forever live in our hearts. The phrase “how do you catch a cloud and pin it down” best describes the spirit of Alissa.
A memorial service for Alissa will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
