Chris was born on July 6, 1960, in Durant, Oklahoma. He graduated from Tuttle High School in 1978 and went on to build a successful career with Allstate Insurance, where he worked for over 20 years as a Regional Claims Manager. Those who knew Chris often joked that after decades as a claims adjuster, there wasn’t much he hadn’t seen—or a story he couldn’t top.
In November of 1989, Chris married the love of his life, Marci Brown. Together they built a life centered around family and shared memories.
Chris had a passion for the outdoors and spent much of his free time at the lake. He also enjoyed the thrill of drag racing, a hobby he especially cherished sharing with his son, Tyler. Those moments together created lasting memories and reflected the close bond they shared. He will be remembered for his love of life, dedication to his family, and the many friendships he formed along the way.
He is survived by his wife, Marci; son, Tyler Brown and wife Allison; his beloved grandson, Archer Brown; cousin, Rhonda Nalley; sister-in-law, Debra Carver; and brother-in-law, Tony Reinauer and wife Debbie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd W. Brown and Mattie Jo Brown.
Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
