Carl Lambert Hernupont Jr. (born July 31, 1961) passed away peacefully at 12:13am on the morning of December 15th. He was surrounded and supported by his three children and caring team of nurses during the last weeks of his life.
Dad was the only child of Carl and Lorraine Hernupont. His childhood was filled with playing sports in school and spending time with his friends and family. Carl was a valued employee of Cox Communications where he worked for thirty-four years. Not only did he love his job but he made many lifelong friends along the way. When Dad wasn’t working he enjoyed spending time with his children and family, going on Jeep expeditions with friends, watching his Oklahoma Sooners, working on his home, watching Cops/personal defense programs and trying to fit in a nap any time the opportunity presented itself. Dad’s life was dedicated to working hard and providing for his family. He taught us the value of a dollar, the importance of family and to give 100% in everything that we do.
Carl’s life will forever be cherished in the lives of his three children: Amie Donahoo (wife of Chad Donahoo), Nicholas Hernupont and Kennedy Hernupont; and three grandchildren: Addison, Ashlynn and Jack.
