

Deanna Jo Tyler, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer on February 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Deanna—known affectionately as “Dee” to those who loved her—was born on December 16, 1949, to Marvin “Pat” and Olga Feddersen in El Reno, Oklahoma. She was raised in Union City and graduated from Union City High School in 1967.
On May 29, 1970, Dee married the love of her life, Gerald Tyler, and together they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was the foundation of a life filled with family, devotion, and countless memories.
Dee spent many years working for the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Corporate Office before retiring in 2002. While she took pride in her career, her greatest joy came from the life she built at home. Dee was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and the heart of her family. She poured her love into raising her three children—Tonya, Stacy, and Travis—and found endless happiness in being “MiMi” to her four grandchildren.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin “Pat” and Olga Feddersen.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald Tyler; her children, Tonya Tyler and wife Cindy SerVoss of Edmond, Oklahoma, Stacy Baker and husband Daniel of Salisbury, Maryland, and Travis Tyler and wife Bianca of Wichita, Kansas; and her cherished grandchildren, Madison (16) and Cassidy Wheeler (11) of Salisbury, Maryland, and Giselle (9) and Rock Tyler (4) of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Rayburn and husband Gary of Beaumont, Texas.
A private graveside service will be held for immediate family on February 15, 2026. Visitation will be available at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday February 15, from 11am-12pm
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lung Cancer Research Foundation or The American Lung Association.
