Dwain Aden Sawyer

He was married to Frances Johnson on August 22, 1970, in Springfield, Missouri. Dwain worked at MTM Recognition before retiring.

Dwain cherished every moment with his grandchildren. He loved surprising them with big and little gifts, taking them to Braums, Oklahoma Science Museum, Blue Zoo and anywhere they wanted to go. He attended every concert, sporting event, music program for the grandchildren.

Dwain was passionate about his golf game. He loved the challenge and the many lifelong friends he made over the years.

Dwain was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and CW Swayer Sr., sister, Eva Nell Patrick (John), brother, John Milton Sawyer (Frances).

Dwain is survived by his wife Frances, brother, C.W. Sawyer Jr. (Janet), his three children Michael Dwain Sawyer (Mary Elizabeth), Robert Bryan Sawyer (Casi), Angela Michelle Kopy (Brian) and his grandchildren Lincoln Michael Kopy, Mason Dwain Kopy, Addison Belle Sawyer, Aden Jordan Sawyer, Lillian Frances Sawyer, and Phaedra Elizabeth Sawyer.

Memorial service to be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10am at the Memorial Road Church of Christ located at 2221 E Memorial Road, Edmond, OK 73013.
