One of seven children born to Earl and Venada Helderman on October 27, 1918, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Frances Trula Cox, peacefully passed February 17, 2015. She is survived by sons; Jim and Steve, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Frances graduated from Edmond High in 1936, and received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Teachers College in 1940. She married Harold Roy Cox in 1936 and was a homemaker until her sons were grown. She returned to school for her teaching certificate and taught elementary school for many years. Frances was a lifetime member of Trinity Baptist Church. A gentle and loving spirit, she never said anything bad about anyone. The funeral service will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, Oklahoma City, Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 11:00 A.M.
