Janice Gibson

Frances “Janice” Gibson, beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many, went home to meet Jesus on May 21, 2025. She left a legacy of faith, family bonds and treasured friendships. Janice was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma on March 16, 1932 to James Corley Barnes and Frances Josephine Barnes. Janice is survived by her children Bret and Lori Hall and Sherri Hall. Also, Mike and Nancy Gibson, Kathy Markey, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Later in life while working at Conoco Oil she met the love of her life Joeallen Gibson. They loved spending time traveling together with family and friends. Janice always made holidays warm and memorable for everyone with her wonderful cooking and hospitality. She brought joy to everyone she met. Her laughter was contagious! Hugs were plentiful and her playful side was enjoyed by all. She attended Quail Springs Baptist Church where she found her true relationship with the Lord and also gained a loving church family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to QSBC Mission Work and special thanks to Traditions Home Hospice (Cheyanne, Kenesha, and Bill) for the tender care in helping her journey home.
