Born on April 1, 1961 in Edmond, Oklahoma, Joe walked a path marked by hardship, yet he met every challenge with courage and compassion. Though life was not always easy, he remained a good and gentle soul always ready to lend a hand, or share a kind word,
Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior, and he lived with the assurance that this world was not his home. His faith sustained him through trials, and now, without a doubt, he rests in the presence of his Redeemer.
Joe is survived by his son Daniel Joseph Thompson, grandson Daniel Joseph Thompson, his brothers David Thompson and wife Jane, Toby Thompson and wife Jenny, and several cousins, nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his humble spirit. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Fred and Grace Thompson.
A graveside service will be held on October 22, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of his life and a soul now at peace.
