Judy (Rock) Dale passed away October 16th 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Lucille Rock. She was the mother of Eddie Joseph Landry II and David Ray Landry. She was the wife of Terry Dale. She was the grandmother to Ryan Landry , Arianna Combs, Soraya Petty, Daustin Petty, Gracelynn Landry, Sophia Landry, Allison Landry and Brett Landry. She was a sister to Barbara Roberts, Patricia Smallwood, Christie Johnson, Robert Watkins, Kathey Eldred (deceased), Kenneth Eldred, Matthew Eldred, Hank Eldred and William Cooper (deceased). She was a graduate of Midwest City High School and Western Oklahoma State College in Altus. She was a very accomplished and award-winning journalist in the late 80s and 90s. She worked for the Altus Times and the Ponca City News for many years along with other smaller newspapers. She was a one-time member of the Society of Professional Journalists Oklahoma chapter. She also was instrumental in helping to bring the Veterans Memorial Park to Altus Oklahoma and wrote a small book on the building of the memorial Hometown Heroes.
