

After graduating from high school she went to Warrensburg Teachers College (University of Central Missouri) in Warrensburg, Missouri, receiving a degree in Education. After graduation she taught English and coached volleyball. She married Norman William Fullrich in 1946 and they moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where they lived and were married for 65 years. They were devoted members of Trinity Baptist Church where she visited all the Homebound members, was on the baptismal committee, enjoyed Sister to Sister, WMU and many other activities there. She worked as a school secretary for many years in OKC. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved gardening, cooking, traveling, and entertaining friends.
Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, her parents, and four brothers, James Maxwell “JM” Edwards, Joseph “Hugh” Edwards, Harry Clifford Edwards, and Shelby Donald Edwards, many loving family members, and dear friends.
Laura is survived by her two children, Don Fullrich and wife Diane of Carrollton, Texas, Lana Sadler and husband Steve of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She treasured her six grandchildren, Jon Fullrich and wife Leigh, David Fullrich and wife Allison, Daniel Fullrich and wife Kristina, Amanda Bogle and husband Aaron, Clifton Sadler and wife Hillary, and Katie White and husband Bryan. She dearly loved her eleven great grandchildren, Carter, Sam, Matthew, Audrey, and Collin Fullrich, Payton, Hadley, and Maddox Bogle, Andy and Shepherd Sadler, and Barrett White.
Laura was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, (“GiGi”) and friend to many. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to all the wonderful caregivers who helped take care of her the last 7 years of her life at Prestonwood Court Assisted Living, Plano, Texas.
Friends and Family are invited to a visitation at Memorial Park Cemetery Historic Chapel, Saturday, August 25, 11 AM, followed by a graveside service at 12 noon at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N. Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 1329 N.W. 29th Street, Oklahoma City.
