

He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 7, 1946. Marc attended Star Spencer High School and later receiver his GED. He also attended college night classes and was just shy of earning his associates degree.
He was married to Lynda Raye Garriott on July 29, 1966.
Marc worked as a truck driver for over 40 years – but held may titles throughout his life. He was a member of the Bethany Masonic Lodge and earned the highest rank of Master Mason. Marc had a passion for his family and loved to spend time in their company.
Devoted husband Marc Garriott’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. After a courageous battle with cancer and 74 memory-filled years of life, Marc passed away surrounded by loved ones who will honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Marc is survived by the love of his life, the most beautiful women in the universe to him, his ever-loving wife Lynda; daughter Ginna Sloan; sister DhuAnn Robertson; grandsons Joshua and Jarred Sloan, Blaine Garriott; great grandchildren Greyson, Phoenix, and Harley Sloan; and not a blood brother, but a brother for life, J.D. Ressler and many more family members and a whole herd of friends from coast to coast.
Marc is preceded in death by his brother Kirston Garriott; sister Sara Ruiz; and son Dhu-Andrew Paul Garriott.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the VA Hospital and Emerald Hospice Nurses.
A graveside service for Marc will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
