

Marilyn Kay (Trimmer) Jackson-Fast left this earth to be with her Lord on December 23, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after a battle with cancer. She was a daughter of Elvis W & Opal F. (Reid) Trimmer of Oklahoma City. Marilyn married Millard A. Jackson, Jr., and they were blessed with two children, Deborah D. Jackson and Millard A. “Jacky” Jackson, III. After a long time, Marilyn found a new love with Gene A. Fast. They had a son, Nicholas G. Fast.
Marilyn worked at TG&Y for many years in the print shop department and at Britton Christian Church Day Care. Marilyn’s favorite job was working at Hobby Lobby in the fabric department.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Millard A. Jackson, III, and many other family members. Marilyn is survived by husband Gene; sisters, Jean & Jerry Patterson and Joyce & Jim Stravlo; brother, Andy & Rose Trimmer; daughter, Deborah D. Jackson; son, Nicholas & Maria Fast; grandchildren, Diana and Kevin Jackson and Ashley Fast; great-grandson, Ryan; step-son, Shannon & Travis Fast and their families; as well as many nieces and nephews. Marilyn loved to sew and garden.
Her greatest joys in life were studying Gods word, being with her family, and playing with her dogs.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at Memorial Park Historic Cemetery Chapel, 13400 N Kelley, Oklahoma City, with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
