

She was in the first graduating class of Harding High School. Early in her life, she worked at John A. Brown Department Store and Oklahoma City Clinic. Then she attended Central State College and was in the Nursing Program at the OU School of Nursing. She worked at University Hospital while in the nursing program. Later, she worked at St. Anthony Hospital.
She married the love of her life, Robert Wayne Davy, in 1960 in Oklahoma City. She was happily married and was a devoted wife and mother to five children. She was a homemaker who enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, and crafts. Her life-long work was family history and genealogy. She devoted her life to nurturing her family, and she was a counselor and source of inspiration to her children. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband of 46 years, Robert; brother, Robert Allen; and sister, Margaret. She is survived by her five children: Dawn Moesel (Doug) of Columbia, Missouri; Rhonda Lyon (Tim) of Choctaw, OK; Jo Ellen Johnson (Dan) of Edmond, OK; Lee Mandel of OKC, OK; and Robert Wayne Davy II (Jamie) of South Jordan, Utah. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Visitation with family will be Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, from 5-7 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, 10 AM, Friday, Aug. 22, 2014.
