Patsy Ruth Reger

Patsy Ruth Bross Reger, 95, of Oklahoma City, left this world January 13,2026. Patsy was born July 16, 1930 in Wilburton, OK to her parents Helen and Earl Bross. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charlie Reger, parents, Earl and Helen Bross, cousins and many friends. Patsy is survived by her cousins Dr. Beatrice Butler of Mc Alister, Linda Bell, Ragan Butler and Gemma Thorne; Buddy and Pat Rieffanaugh of Huntington Beach, California and their daughter Sheri Rieffanaugh.

Patsy worked in the oil industry for many years before she retired in her 50s. She was a graduate of El Reno High School and the University of Oklahoma.

At OU she was active member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. As an OU Alumni, Patsy was an avid OU Football fan. She loved watching OU Football and was a season ticket holder for decades. Patsy also loved going out to dinner with friends, traveling the world and dancing with her late husband Charlie. Patsy was a member of the Regency Dance Club, The Clubettes, Petroleum Club, Kiwanis Ladies Organization, Red Bud Organization and the Northside Y for many years.

Patsy will be sorely missed by all the people who loved her but we know she is happy to be reunited with her husband Charlie, family and friends who have gone before her.

Graveside service will be held at the Columbarium of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 2717 W Hefner Road, Oklahoma City, OK on February 16,2026 at 11:00 am. The Reverend Chris Dodson will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
