After retiring from the Air Force, Ralph continued in civil service at Tinker AFB.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kay, and daughter, Michelle. He is survived by his wife, Betty; three sons and their spouses: William of Shawnee, OK, Richard of San Antonio, TX, and Douglas of Austin, TX; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
