

He was born in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1946. Robert graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1964 and later earned 56 credit hours from Mid-America Bible College (formerly known as Gulf Coast Bible College) between 1968 and 1973. In October 1996, he graduated from American Truck Driving School.
On November 20, 1965, Robert married the love of his life, Marnel Diane Parker Wiedemann. He built a career in truck driving, working for several local delivery companies as well as in over-the-road hauling. A licensed minister since 1974, Robert faithfully served in ministry while pursuing his many passions, which included calligraphy, watching wilderness videos, and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald A. Wiedemann Sr. and Josie Vernalee (Jones) Wiedemann, and his sister, Vicky Lyn Sharif.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marnel D. Wiedemann; his brother, Gerald A. Wiedemann Jr.; his sons, Marty and Chris Wiedemann; his daughter, Marla (Wiedemann) Sorrells; his grandchildren, Preston Wiedemann, Grace Mosier, and Lillian Sorrells; and his great-grandchildren, Logan, Braydan, and Wade Wiedemann.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 2, 2026, at My Church located at 2335 W State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK 73064.
