Samuel H. Tesney

On the evening of November 4th 2015 God called his faithful son Samuel Harmon Tesney home to join the eternal Kingdom of Glory. The gift of Samuel was bestowed upon Algert and Euna “Tessie” Tesney on August 23, 1938 in the city of Terre Haute, IN. He was the second and the last of their two children. His older brother James remained his most valued and treasured friend throughout his entire life. After graduating from high school Samuel dedicated his professional life to the armed forces by serving in the United States Air Force for twenty years two months and two days. His commitment as public servant continue with his role as city councilman for Del City for four years, a position in which he was respected and admired by all. Samuel would be the first to confirm that his greatest accomplishment in life was the honor of being both husband and father. Samuel and Karen Tesney celebrated their loving and epic marriage for forty three years and are now once again joined together in eternal happiness. He is survived by his four and their spouses: Algert (Lee) and Robin Tesney of Elmore City, OK; Jeffrey (Jeff) and Alison Tesney of Sherman, TX; Michael Tesney and Brian Tinson of Denver, CO; and Russell and Cindy Tesney of Del City, OK; His brother James (Jim) Tesney of Del City, OK; along with 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
