It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sheena Kaveh, a radiant soul who brought light to all who knew her. Sheena left this world on December 23, 2024, at the tender age of 35, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering strength. She was born on November 19, 1989, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to her devoted parents, Hossein Kaveh and Mojegan Vessal, and her cherished brother, Puya Kaveh.
Sheena was a woman who truly lived with an open heart. She graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 2008 and went on to earn her degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. She pursued a career as a property manager, a role in which she shined brightly, not just through her work but through the warmth and care she brought to those around her. Sheena had an unparalleled gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved. Her kindness and compassion were felt by all who crossed her path, and she was a steadfast friend to so many.
One of Sheena’s greatest joys was her love for her family and friends. She treasured every moment spent with them, and her infectious laugh and joyful spirit made her the heart of every gathering. Whether it was a simple chat with a close friend or a lively gathering with family, Sheena’s presence always brought peace, comfort, and an undeniable sense of belonging. She loved with her whole heart—unconditionally and without hesitation.
Sheena's heart also extended to her beloved dogs, Kiki and Kobe, who were always by her side. She loved them deeply and they, in turn, brought her endless comfort and joy.
Kiki and Kobe were more than pets—they were her faithful companions and her source of unconditional love. Their bond was a reflection of Sheena's own gentle, loving spirit.
Sheena was also a devoted sports fan, with a deep love for the Los Angeles Lakers and an unwavering admiration for Kobe Bryant. Her passion for basketball was more than just about the game—it was about the values of perseverance, dedication, and teamwork, qualities that she lived by every day. Whether watching a game or cheering on her team with her loved ones, Sheena’s enthusiasm was contagious and never failed to brighten the room.
Sheena also loved to play the piano any chance she got for her friends and family. She had a gift for music. Her favorite song to play for others was “Right here waiting”.
In her short time on this earth, Sheena showed us the true meaning of resilience and grace. She had a unique ability to navigate life’s challenges with a calm and open heart, teaching all of us to embrace both the joys and hardships with equal grace. She believed that love could heal even the deepest wounds and that every person, no matter their background, deserved kindness. Her life was a beautiful testament to how to love others through difficult times and to lift them up in ways both big and small.
Though Sheena’s life was far too brief, it was immeasurably beautiful. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the strength she showed, and the joy she brought to this world. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her parents, Hossein and Mojegan, her brother Puya, and the countless friends and loved ones who were touched by her radiant spirit.
