She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on November 24, 1947 to O.R. & Vera Sampson. Susan graduated from Spiro High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
She was married to Robert L. Gregg, III on July 24, 1976. Having just recently celebrated their 47-year anniversary, they enjoyed traveling together, showing the dogs & attending sporting events to cheer on their grandchildren.
Susan’s career started as a receptionist in the early 70’s & she quickly moved into managing a large group of radiologists before partnering with a group to form Shared Management Services in 1991. Susan had too many accomplishments over the years to list, from her professional leadership roles to coaching youth soccer to her love of philanthropy.
Susan’s true passion was her grandchildren & great grandchildren, cooking, traveling & shopping!
She is preceded in death by her parents O.R. & Vera Sampson & survived by her husband Bob Gregg, daughters Kristin Egan & husband Tim, Kerry Tretheway & husband Dave and son Rob Gregg & wife Jennifer, grandchildren Austin Egan & wife Kyla, Lauren McFadden, Emilie Egan, Zack Tretheway, Ally McFadden, Emily Tretheway & Haven Gregg, and great-grandchildren Owen Egan & Hadlee Egan. Along with so many more “bonus” children, friends and loved ones.
Viewing will be Monday, August, 28th. Family will be accepting guests from 4-7 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 N. Kelley Ave. OKC, OK 73131.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 10 am at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church 3100 N. Broadway Edmond, OK 73034 with a burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
