Timothy Joe Morache was born August 6, 1941 to Joe Morache and Ludie Bowman Morache in Monrovia, California. He passed from this earth on July 31, 2025 within good hands; people who loved and cared for him.
He attended El Segundo High School where he was standout running back on the football team. While in high school, he worked for his father; who was a master carpenter. His passion after high school was racing cars. His brother, Gordon, was his chief mechanic and kept his car running at optimal precision.
Tim attended college at The University of Nevada Las Vegas for two years. He then returned to Los Angeles and began working at Hughes Aircraft Company. He started in the mailroom working his way up to chief purchasing officer. After 30 years of service to Hughes Aircraft Company, he retired in 1995.
On September 21, 1974, he married the “love of his life” Susie J. Andrews in Lakewood, California. They made their home in Granda Hills then moving to Northridge where they endured the earthquake in 1994.
Tim and Susie enjoyed traveling the world over with life long friends. Every year they spent their anniversary in Hawaii.
In 2003, Tim and Suzie left California to escape the traffic and crowds. They moved to Edmond, Oklahoma where they enjoyed the slower pace and seeing the beautiful Oklahoma sunsets. Tim and Suzi enjoyed getting in the car with their dog Bella to travel and sight see around Oklahoma.
For years, Tim was a compassionate and loving caregiver to his mother, wife and mother-in-law.
Preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Suzie, mother and daddy, Ludie and Joe Morache, two brothers, David and Gordon, and mother-in-law, Alice Andrews.
Tim is survived by cousins in Oklahoma, California and Texas as well as neighbors The Kliers, The Nelsons and The Furrhs.
The service will be held Saturday, August 9, 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum 13400 N Kelley Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Godspeed Car Care Ministry (PO Box 129, Arcadia, OK 73007) and Ronald McDonald House Charities of OKC (PO Box 7979, Edmond, OK 73083)
