Tommy Leonard Dale

Tommy Leonard Dale, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, passed away on January 22, 2017. In death, he joins his parents, Darlene V. Dale and Billy Lavern Dale. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Weaver Dale; son Jeffrey Don Fletcher and daughter Jennifer Annette Dale; grandchildren Dakota Snow, Kenneth Jeffrey Fletcher, Morgan Linea Fletcher, Jacqueline Renee Fletcher, Casey Jo Fletcher, Brandon Grant Fletcher, Adalynn Estelle Fletcher, Drusilla Raven Williams, and Aiden Renee Willis; great-grandchildren Azyin Elisa Fletcher and Jordyn Rylee (Jo Jo) Schupp; sisters Kerry Pyle and her husband Robert, and Barbara Lesher and her husband Randy; brother-in-law Terry Weaver and his wife Nancy; nephews Kevin Long, and David Allen Pennington Sr. and his wife Jynx; niece Stephanie Nagel; great-nephew David Allen Pennington Jr.; and many more relatives and good friends.

Born June 1, 1949, Tommy graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City in 1967 and attended OSU-OKC. He married Jo Ann Weaver on July 4, 1977, entering a marriage that would last nearly 40 years. Tommy worked as a mechanic at Oklahoma Tire and Supply until 1985, when he joined the OCPD, where he remained until retiring after 25 years, on February 1, 2010. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren, playing with his dogs, and taking walks with Jo Ann. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
