Homer William Harrell, "Bill" 73 years "older", from Orlando, Florida, passed away on March 28, 2019. He was born in Sarasota, FL., December 6, 1945. He graduated from Riverview HS in 1963, and retired from the United States Navy and the U.S. Postal Service. Bill enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening, football, softball and baseball. He loved sports so much that his son's first words were 'ball". Bill married the love of his life, Alice Davis on May 5, 1966 in Mayport, FL., and shared a wonderful live together. He is survived by his wife, Alice; his daughter, Tanya Michele Parker; grandchildren, Cory William Harrell and Cassandra Renee Harrell; sisters, Marvis (Carl) Brewer, Annie (James) Ewton; and sister-in laws, Floretta Sawders and Mary Lou Davis. He was predeceased by son, Homer William Harrell "J.R."; parents, Lantis and Nellie Harrell; siblings, Gene Farr, Gerrald Farr, Lantis Harrell "Jr." and Opal Harrell. Bill's favorite sayings were: "How are you doing", "partly cloudy" and "I'm getting older not old". His siblings and him loved each other even with the ups and downs. Also that only they could pick on each other, no one else. His sister Mavis, remembers when they brought him home and hearing whimpering from a basket, so she looked on and saw Bill. We all remember him for always making sure his family was taken care of and always joking.
