Gladys had an outgoing and cheerful demeanor. She brought positivity and energy wherever she went. She valued her family and was actively involved with her immediate and extended family. She enjoyed her gardening and dog sitting. She enjoyed her work as a house cleaner as well as 18 years at Red Lobster where she was a trainer in Winter Park, Florida.
Gladys is survived by her sisters Hazel Hoffner and Sarah Manley along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Billy Jackson; siblings Doris Carter, Clyde Hood, Johnnie Hood, Billy Hood, Carl Hood, Jimmy Hood, MC Hood, and CJ Hood.
