Helen grew up in Lutz, Florida with her brother, John Eikel, and parents. From a young age, Helen was a devoted member of her church, singing in the choir and serving in her youth group. Through singing in her church choir, Helen was offered a scholarship to attend the Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Virginia. Following her time in college, Helen began her career as a fashion buyer for several major department stores. During the early years of her career, she met and married Robert Schoeller with whom she had her three daughters—Karen, Patricia and Pamela. Her career took her all over the country and eventually led her back to Florida, where she transitioned into the real estate business and eventually found her career in Mary Care Cosmetics, which was another great love of her life. Helen’s career with Mary Kay Cosmetics spanned close to four decades.
The greatest joy of Helen’s life was being a devout and loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Helen played a large part in her grandchildren’s lives, attending as many of their life events as she could. Over the years, Helen became well known as quite the baker to her family and friends, sharing her love of others through her passion of baking.
Throughout Helen’s life, she was a devout Christian and member of the church. Her greatest passion was leading others to Christ and sharing the Word of God. Helen will be forever remembered for her everlasting love of her creator and her giving heart.
