Myrtle was married to Ernest R. Kolb, Sr. on December 17, 1949.
They were married almost 59 years before his passing in 2008.
They had 3 children together.
Myrtle was primarily a homemaker. She was a long-standing member of Bithlo Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, playing board games, and puzzles of all kinds.
She is survived by her sons, Michael W. Kolb (Susan) & Steven A. Kolb (Tammy), 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her Loving Husband Ernest R. Kolb, Sr., son Ernest R. Kolb, Jr., parents James and Mattie Touchton, and sister Nona Smith.

Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery on September 5, 2025

Public viewing will be from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Service will be at 12:00 pm with the Internment immediately following.
