Phyllis was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 4, 1933. Phyllis (Fi) graduated from high school in West Warwick, Rhode Island and received a Bachelor of Arts from Rhode Island School of Design. She was married to W. Delaney Way, Jr. on October 30, 1954. Fi had a career in interior design.
She is survived by her children: Wendy Way, Will Way, Doug Way, and Frank Way. She is also survived by her grandchildren Aubrey Way, Allison Bunnell, Kelsey Way, Delaney Way, and Conner Way. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Jubilee Way, Irene Way, Olivia Bunnell, Miles Bunnell, and Avery Bunnell.
