Aloysius, “Al”, Rilinger, 90, Overland Park, KS, passed away 5 December 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM, Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will precede the Mass from 9-10 AM at the church. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Al was born 13 January, 1921, in Seneca, KS, to George and Mary (Fangman) Rilinger. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the Army Air Forces from 1941-1945. On 19 April 1952, he married Lorraine Barrett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Albert and Melvin Rilinger. Al is survived by: his wife, Lorraine; brothers: George of Orlando, FL, Raymond and Paul, both of Seneca, KS, Edgar of Canton, OH, and Emmet of CO; sisters: Dorothy Marie and Jean Marian, both of Leavenworth, KS, and Anna Marie of Davenport, IA; and many friends and dear neighbors.
