

Bill Bronson, 71, Overland Park, KS, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 from complications following heart surgery. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM, Tuesday, July 2, at Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W. 93rd St., Overland Park. Visitation will precede the Mass at the church from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Holy Cross Endowment Fund or to a charity of choice.
Bill was born in Macon, GA, to parents, Horace W., Jr. and Sue (Lynn) Bronson. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in engineering. He was the Engineer Manager for J.C. Penney Catalog Division prior to his retirement. Bill was a “world-class tinkerer”, a real do-it-yourself kind of man—he could fix anything! He loved golf and cars, but his real passion was his beloved family.
He was preceded in death by: his father; and a brother-in-law, Edward Hansen. Bill is survived by: his wife of 48 years, Vicki; his mother, Sue Bronson of Vero Beach, FL; a son, David and his wife, Reven of Shawnee, KS; 2 grandchildren: Jonas and Bo; and a sister, Lynda Hansen of Shelton, CT.
