Cheri was an avid reader and worked in the insurance industry as an assistant underwriter.
Cheri was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Margot Guffey, Pamela Jackson and Stephen Close; and son, Jeremy Squire.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Squire, of the home; son, Michael Sean Story; daughter, Paula Wild; three grandchildren, Trent Wild, Morgan Wild and Xander Wild; nephews and niece, Donald Guffey-Jensen, Arnold “Skip” Jensen II, Jon Jensen and Lori Jensen all of Texas.
Cheri’s visitation will be held 4 to 6pm, followed by her Celebration of Life Service at 6pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Abundant Life Church, 12400 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas 66213. Her graveside service will begin at 1:30pm, Friday, March 10th in Belleville City Cemetery, 1670 Nickel Road, Belleville, Kansas 66935.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to Abundant Life Church’s Memorial Fund.
