To Cheryl's family, how saddened I am to hear of her death. I knew Cheryl in Beaumont and then later met again in Overland Park through early childraising days. Michael, you and my son Jude were in a playgroup together. We had reconnected via email in the last couple of years so I wondered why I hadn't heard from her lately.  I was so shocked to hear of her death.  Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

What a great loss in your lives. My prayers are with you as you move forward. Your mother had prepared you well. She taught by example faith, courage, love, dedication, generosity...so many priceless lessons. You are blessed to have those lessons to carry with you the rest of your lives. The sense of  loss that you are experiencing now must be tremendous. 
Spending time with Cheryl always left me a better person. I'm grateful for her influence in my life. Her openness and honesty about life, her love for God and her walk with Him, her love for her family. All of these things touched the lives of many of us over the years we knew her. 
May God use all of these lessons Cheryl  taught us all to help you along the way during this time, Remember that you are dearly loved and held secure in God's hands. The answers and strength you need will always be there when you look to Him. He NEVER truly leaves us alone. God bless you.

Cheryl was a great mother and a talented and giving person.  She was eloquent in her writing and an artist in many mediums. She truly made a difference to those that met her.
My condolences to her family, especially Sarah and all her boys.

I want to say thank you to everybody for their kind words about my mother.  Mom, I love you so much and really, truly miss you.

Cheryl was my college roommate and matron of honor at my wedding. When in school she was quite impressive with her being 6'1" and had waist length black hair.  She isvery sorely missed.  My love and prayers to the entire family.

Cheryl was a good neighbor and friend.  She even tutored me in high school math, just shows she was never afraid of a challenge.  She was such a good friend to my Mom.  I just know they are up in heaven chatting away.  She will be missed always.
