Danny C. Switzer

Danny C. Switzer, age 65 of Wichita, Kansas passed away June 30, 2013 surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. Danny was born March, 24, 1948 in Concordia, KS. He worked for Boeing and Spirit Aerosystems for more than 35 years. Danny was known for his dutiful work ethic, attention to detail, and quirky sense of humor. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed boating, dragging his grandkids around the lake on inner tubes, bonfires, and, of course, golfing. He also liked bicycling across Kansas (which he did several times) and, most importantly, eating ice cream.

He was preceded in death by his father Leland Switzer. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Jeri Switzer (Schuler), daughters Jennifer Switzer and her husband Michael Garner and Amy Switzer and her husband Joe Arcikowski, his grandsons Redford Garner and Tucker Arcikowski, his mother Peggy Switzer, his sisters Soni (Nick) Nicholson, Dana (Mickey) Ehrmann, and Karlene (Virgil) Ivy, his brothers Kevin (Merlene) Switzer and Stan (Donna) Switzer and many other close loved ones and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 8 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1601 S. Main, Wichita, KS 67213.
